I know there are several people who are researching this Martin family. I set up this forum as a tool to help us collaborate on our research.

As of the date this forum was created, I don't know who the parents of John "Jackson" Martin were. There's a renewed interest in this line because recent Y-DNA testing showed a near match between this Martin line and another. See group #13 on the results page at the Martin Surname DNA Project page (click on the "DNA Test Results" link on that page).
